Financial Incentives

E

Rebates can make energy wise choices easier on your wallet

Most energy efficiency upgrades require an upfront investment, which can feel like a hurdle for some households. To make these improvements more affordable, a wide range of financial incentives exist. There are too many financial incentives to list them all, but visit www.switchison.org to find out about the incentives available for your zipcode. You can learn about eligibility, amounts, procedures and even certified contractors who can do the job.

It’s nearly impossible to list every financial incentive available—there are many, they change frequently, and some run out quickly due to high demand while others appear with little notice. Eligibility rules can be complex and sometimes require working with a contractor who may or may not be familiar with the extra paperwork involved.

At Sierra Energy Reimagined, we’re committed to learning these processes alongside you and helping local residents access as many rebates as possible. We know the challenge is not just for homeowners and contractors, but also for statewide program administrators who often focus on larger urban areas like Sacramento or the Bay Area. By building and aggregating local demand, we can make it more worthwhile for contractors and rebate providers to serve our community. If you’re considering a specific rebate, let us know—we’re here to help.
