If you live inside the city limits of Grass Valley or Nevada City, or in Placer or El Dorado counties, you have the option to use Pioneer Community Energy as your preferred power supplier to PG&E. They do not replace PG&E as your new utility company. PG&E is still your utility company. Pioneer is simply an alternative source of power that is available to select PG&E customers who reside in an eligible city or county.
